Chris Licht is the founding partner and CEO of CLC Partners, an investment firm backing next-generation content creators and early-stage media businesses.
Mr. Licht previously served as Chairman and CEO of CNN. Before that, he was Executive Vice President of Special Programming at CBS and Executive Producer/Showrunner of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Earlier in his career, he executive produced CBS's CBS This Morning and co-created and executive produced MSNBC's Morning Joe. His work has earned a Peabody Award, two News & Documentary Emmys, a Daytime Emmy, and an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award. He is also the author of What I Learned When I Almost Died: How a Maniac TV Producer Put Down His BlackBerry and Started to Live His Life.
Mr. Licht sits on the Board of Directors of Highview Merger Corp, the advisory board of the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, and Robin Hood's Leadership Council. He is also a licensed pilot and enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
