Katie Dunn

Katie is a fourth generation owner of JE Dunn Construction Company and Principal and Senior Wealth Consultant at Mariner where she focuses her time on new business development and relationship management. She works primarily with business owners and senior-level executives, helping them formulate and implement financial plans. She also works with family offices, nonprofits, foundations and institutions.

Katie began her career as a financial advisor with Piper Jaffray in 2006. Piper was acquired by UBS where she advanced to account vice president. Katie joined Mariner as a senior wealth manager in 2009 and migrated to the role of senior wealth consultant in 2010. She became a principal in 2019.

Katie has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas Christian University.

Katie serves on the Advancement Board for the University of Kansas Health System, board member for the Dunn Family Foundation and trustee for the Dunn Family Private Trust Company. In addition to her board commitments, she volunteers her time at her children’s various schools. She is part of the Kansas City Royals ownership group and serves on the executive leadership team for the Dunn Family Council.
